A proper Karoo stop
Karoo Plaas is a farm stall and kitchen in the middle of Steynsburg, right beside the Astron Energy garage on Van Riebeeck Street. Since 2014 we have been baking pies, rolling roosterkoek and cutting chips by hand, the way it is done on the farm.
Travellers on the R56 know us as the quick stop with real food, fresh baking and clean restrooms. Locals know us for the weekly specials and the Sunday lunch.

Potatoes cut by hand and fried to order. Ask for the loaded fries when they are on the specials board.
